Neptune’s Ball Runway Show

04–24–24Neptune’s Ball is a met gala style event set on the planet Neptune.  This black tie event included looks that were each designers interpretation of the theme. Designers were encourage to use the colors blue black and white. The customer for these designs? A very chic extraterrestrial.

Battle of the Bands

04–26–24Inspired by the awe-inspiring music community in Syracuse, this shoot features a freshman band new to the scene in Syracuse: XO. This shoot is influenced by the film Scott Pilgrim vs. The World as we see two bands,  the FADS models and XO, riff of in a glamorous showdown.

Blockchain of Love

04–27–24Inspired by the likes of Mortal Kombat and the video game world of 1v1 combat. As we celebrate Valentine’s Day, we have taken this concept and created a game that applies to love, how the punches thrown and moves made reflect the same way people engage with one another in relationships; with tact and thoughtful manipulation of the opponents’ strengths and weaknesses. Playful yet important, we wanted to immerse our audience in this gaming world.

04–27–24In an era of constant change, the Fashion Design Society creates 'Dreamscapes,' a haute couture show inspired by Surrealist art. This vivid exploration of the unknown blends bright colors and mind-bending designs, transcending conventional expectations. 'Dreamscapes' is not just a fashion show; it's a journey of self-discovery, bridging reality and the surreal, showcasing the limitless potential when art and fashion converge.

Kaleidoscope

04–27–24Kaleidoscope is a psychedelic maximalist mirage. Inspired by the cinematography and experimental visuals of films like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Enter the Void, we see models influenced by a popular new pharmaceutic: fashion. As we edge closer to our surrealist inspired fashion show, Dreamscapes, our visual direction pushes for a descent into stylistic absurdity. Kaleidoscope experiments with self-expression and exuberance in a world of homogenous trend cycles.

04–27–24Inspired by synth pop bands like Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, and The Psychedelic Furs. Echoes of Innocence blends child-like play and imagination with 80s grunge, set against the Brutalist work of I.M. Pei’s iconic Everson Museum of Art.

04–27–24Working with a group, this shoot was a look book imagined for anybrand of our choosing to fit their design aesthetic and work with upcoming trends. Using two models, each has 5 looks. The trends utilized are tailoring, oversized, leather, feminine lace and sheer, and contrasting textures.
